Race Check‐In Office: Check in will begin at 9:00am upstairs in the main room of the Riverside Boat Club boathouse. A representative from each team must check in, make any waiver adjustments, and pick up the team’s registration packet, including the Red Bull participant tank tops. All competitors are free to wear team colors/unis while racing.
Spectators: There is significant space available for spectators at the venue. We request that spectators view the event from DCR Magazine Beach Park. This is the grass area along the course. They will be asked to move if congregating along the parking, warm up, or launching and receiving areas. Please do not spectate or congregate on the Riverside Boat Club docks.
First Aid Location: There will be an EMT parked in the Riverside Boat Club back parking lot. There will be Department of Conservation and Recreation employees present as well as Red Bull High Stakes event staff to assist you with locating First Aid.
Bathroom Facilities: The boathouse has limited bathroom facilities. There will be ‘pods’ of Porta‐Potties (including handicap accessible units) located at the racing venue.
On-Land Warm Up: Shimano Shoe Systems will be providing a tented area with ergs for ample on land warm up.
Shell Storage: Fluidesign and Croker Oars will provide equipment for all crews. Teams should not bring their own equipment; just show up and ROW! The equipment will be staged at Riverside Boat Club, see attached event site map. Since the equipment is shared, NO rigging adjustments of any kind will be allowed. Height and foot placement within the hulls may be adjusted. Please do not bring your own equipment; Red Bull High Stakes event team is not responsible for any equipment brought on site.
Results & Medals: Results will be posted at the vendor and finish area. You may also log onto https://herenow.com to get online results. Medals will be awarded at the finish area at the end of the day. Awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, as well as quickest stake turn by an eight will be awarded.
Garbage Removal: Trash bags will be included in every registration package. Please collect your trash and deposit it in the trash barrels located throughout the venue. Additionally this year we have implemented a recycling program. Please be sure to recycle your paper and plastic!
